Baby Massage

Baby massage is a lovely way to spend time with your baby
learning strokes which can help to calm and soothe them.
Over the four-week course you will learn gradual massage strokes
covering your baby’s whole body starting from the feet,
moving to the tummies which can help to relieve wind and constipation
and ending with the face and head which are totally sleep inducing for some babies.
The power of positive touch
The sense of touch is the very first sense to develop in utero at around 8 weeks gestation. That’s so incredible and it is no wonder how important positive touch is in soothing and learning your baby once they are born.
Baby massage is one of those skills that last a lifetime and will help…
Helps sooth sore tummies
Gentle abdominal massage can help move trapped gas through the intestines, alleviating discomfort from bloating and colic.
Induces sleep
By promoting relaxation and reducing discomfort, massage can lead to better sleep patterns.
Promotes bonding
Studies indicate that skin-to-skin contact elevates oxytocin levels in both parents and infants, reinforcing the emotional and physiological bonds essential for healthy development
